Exception piece of jewellery constructed from small bronze rings held together by even smaller copper rings. There is over 400 bronze rings held together by over 2000 copper rings all prepared and constructed by me by hand. The cabochon was a teardrop composite stone that we found on the island of Crete. We ground it down to the final shape and polished it in our studio. The stone is held in place by using both 20 gauge and 28 gauge copper wire. Unfortunately since the stone was polished to such a high shine the pictures do not do it justice. The stone nestles nicely between the breasts. I have also added some extra link to one side so you adjust to the length that you like.
This is a collector's piece and should be treated as such. It can not been worn into a pool or salt water. If you do happen to get it wet then it should be thoroughly dried off before storage. Copper will blacken if stored when it is damp, look at an old penny. It will need to periodically be cleaned like any fine jewellery.
The price does not include insurance costs. It is suggested that the purchaser does include the insurance for shipment. International customers please contact me for quote on shipping costs.
